what is waxwing?
the waxwing (cedar & bohemian species) is a prevalent song bird in North America; yet at times still thought of as rare given its interesting approach to its environment. they elude traditional bird feeders– instead they thrive off a diet of berries throughout brushes & tree tops. they are also known for its thoughtful nature within its birdie community, known for passing plump berries from beak to beak to ensure its fellow feathered friends are fed.
the waxwing brought about inspiration for our marketing company for several reasons–firstly that our founder is an avid birder and one of her faves to spot in the wild with its remarkable smooth & striking wax-like markings (the marketer in us may say its delightful color palette).
more importantly, the fact that the waxwing’s approach is non-traditional, yet strategic within its environment, was more grounds for inspiration. the world of marketing services can be noisy, and not always unique, and we have seen first hand that there’s not a one-size-fits-all strategy.
there are pillars to our core competencies that are then molded to each business in differentiated ways to accelerate growth & allow you to rise above the rest.
last but not least, a personal & kind touch is brought to every client relationship, similar to our feathered friend throughout their community. sharing knowledge & enjoying each interaction is among our favorite things about being in this creative & interesting work. it’s important that our work with clients is lasting & enjoyable.
